What We’re Listening To: Coffee O’Clock

Thus far, every year of this decade has started off with whirlwind energy, and 2022 is no exception. Rather than leaning away from the chaos of the start of the year, we’re leaning into it, riding out the cultural currents as they ebb and flow.

In that spirit, our office came together to share what we’re listening to right now. Called Coffee O’Clock, we’ve compiled a playlist that represents that manic-but-productive time in the day following the first cup of coffee. Unbound by genre or theme, it combines all of our current favorite tunes from across our global offices. Eclectic and chaotic, the playlist includes some new anthems from ARCA, a Japanese single from K-pop group TWICE, and a few underappreciated artists we want to put on your radar before they undoubtedly go viral.

Last year, we reconnected with each other and with ourselves. We got vaxxed, ventured outside of our homes, saw friends and family, and got back into the office. For many of us, it was also a year we learned what made us happy and what didn’t. We let go of jobs, habits, and people that stopped serving us and our happiness.

If 2021 was a year of forthright self-preservation, then 2022 will be a year of uninhibited self-realization. Rather than feeling bound to what we may have done before, we’re opening ourselves up to discovery and exploration.
