  • CHALLENGE

Accor faced a familiar challenge: one-off influencer campaigns were expensive, difficult to scale and generated no lasting creator equity. The brief: build a sustainable pipeline of travel creators who were educated in Accor’s brand values, accredited to deliver professional content, and embedded into the network for ongoing campaigns across 45+ hotel brands and 1,600+ properties worldwide. Shift from renting creator attention to building creator equity.

  • SOLUTION

New Moon designed and built the ALL Accor Creator Academy, the world’s first hotel-backed creator education and accreditation platform. The program trains emerging travel creators through a structured curriculum, certifies them for quality and brand alignment, and activates them directly into Accor’s proprietary network. The result: a compound creator asset that runs indefinitely, continuously delivering brief opportunities and amplifying Accor’s presence across social channels.

  • RESULT

The Academy launched in Australia in May 2026 with immediate uptake, establishing a new category of creator-hotel partnerships. The platform is now rolling out across MEA and APAC, building a self-sustaining ecosystem of brand-ready creators who amplify Accor across every market. Australia’s creators voted with their applications:

    – 466 applications across the Pacific in under a week

    – 40 creators selected – fewer than one in ten accepted

    – 8 training modules, 20+ lessons delivered

    – 776 rights-cleared assets produced – an owned content library, not borrowed posts

    – 863K earned PR reach

THE PROGRAM

The ALL Accor Creator Academy is structured as a full-cycle creator platform: admission → education → accreditation → activation. Rather than a one-time workshop, creators enter an ongoing relationship where they level up through learning, prove their craft through assessment, and gain exclusive access to paid briefs and campaign opportunities across Accor’s entire brand portfolio. The result is a creator treadmill, a self-sustaining ecosystem that keeps delivering value to Accor long after launch.

Production & platform

Delivered end-to-end by New Moon, from curriculum design, creator recruitment and admissions management through platform build, content distribution and ongoing program operations, the Academy is a fully managed creator ecosystem. New Moon handles all strategic and operational delivery, allowing Accor to focus on brand partnerships and creator engagement.

  • CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION

The Academy offers a structured learning pathway covering brand strategy, content production, storytelling for travel and the commercial side of creator partnerships. Creators aren’t just given access — they’re educated to deliver higher quality, more strategic work. The accreditation process ensures only genuinely skilled creators enter the activation phase, protecting Accor’s content quality while building a credible credential for creators themselves.

  • ACTIVATION & SCALE

Accor’s 45+ hotel brands have direct access to the Academy’s creator pool through a live briefing platform. From boutique properties launching heritage stories to premium resorts building summer campaigns, every brand can source creators pre-vetted for quality and values alignment. Creators receive paid opportunities, brand partnerships and long-term relationships that extend beyond a single campaign.

  • ROLLOUT & EXPANSION

Launched in Australia in May 2026, the Academy is now rolling out to MEA (Middle East & Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific), adapting the curriculum and creator pool to regional contexts while maintaining Accor’s global brand standards. Each regional launch brings new creators and new opportunities, compounding the value of the platform exponentially.

  • CONTENT & AMPLIFICATION

Every creator in the Academy produces content as part of their activation: travel stories, hotel showcases, lifestyle moments, all published under the Academy brand. This creates a constant stream of high-quality, authentic content that flows across social channels, amplifying Accor’s presence far beyond what traditional influencer campaigns could achieve.

DATA & MEASUREMENT

Every creator is tracked across the platform: learning completion rates, accreditation scores, content output, social reach, audience engagement and brand lift. Accor has real-time visibility into which creators are driving the most value, which hotel brands are activating most frequently, and where the ecosystem is accelerating. This data-first approach ensures the Academy compounds in value with every cohort.

PRESS & INDUSTRY RECOGNITION

Marketing-Interactive framed it as part of a broader industry shift, noting that “brands move beyond influencer partnerships and begin building their own pipelines of trained content creators.” [Marketing-Interactive]

Travel Monitor positioned the launch as evidence of “increasing professionalisation of creator marketing within the travel and hospitality industry, as brands seek higher-quality content and more structured partnerships with creators.” Accor cited research showing “70 per cent of hotel user-generated content fails to meet brand standards,” establishing the strategic rationale for the Academy. [Travel Monitor]

Jessica Baider, Manager of Influencers and Content Creators for Accor (MEAAP), told The Hotel Conversation: “Creators are playing an increasingly important role in how people discover and experience travel. As brands automate more content, the value of authentic human storytelling is only increasing, and we’re thrilled to be the first hotel group to invest in a trained creator pipeline with our industry-first initiative.” [Thehotelconversation]

Concrete Playground highlighted the Academy as “opening the door to the next generation of travel storytellers,” while eHotelier emphasised that the program was “developed to meet [the shift in travel discovery] head on — ensuring creators are equipped to produce content that meets both audience expectations and brand standards.” [Concrete Playground / eHotelier Insights]
