THE ACTIVATION

Across two race days, The Island ran to the rhythm of the racing itself. Guests arrived by private water transfer and moved through a day with arrival hospitality, race viewing with uninterrupted harbour sightlines, and moments with the Flying Roos team between races.

The environment was designed as a sailing club: branded without being billboarded, premium without being precious. Natural textures, nautical detailing and considered sightlines put the racing at the centre of every view, while the BONDS Flying Roos identity was woven through touchpoints from signage to service moments.

The experience closed each day at full energy, with guests departing the same way they arrived: on the water.

HOSPITALITY

Hospitality was choreographed to the sport. Food and beverage service, team moments and entertainment were programmed into the gaps between races, so that when the boats were flying, all eyes were on the water.

MOMENTS WITH THE TEAM

The Flying Roos themselves were the heart of the experience. Guests shared genuine, unhurried moments with the athletes between races — the kind of access no grandstand ticket can offer, turning supporters into insiders and deepening the connection between the team and the people who back them.

GUEST MANAGEMENT

A premium guest list demanded precision. Invitations, RSVPs, transfer scheduling and on-Island hosting were managed end-to-end, with real-time coordination across water and land ensuring every guest’s journey, from wharf to Island and back, felt effortless across both race days.
